You may have set up a CentOS server and, in the process, accidentally set it up with DHCP. If your CentOS server uses a GUI, changing that IP address from dynamic to static is very simple.
To build your installation server, start by installing a barebones CentOS system. Once the hardware and operating system are set up, make sure the server has a fixed IP address, say 192.168.2.110.
