A DeKalb County mother has sued online gaming company Roblox alleging it puts profit before safety and allows predators to groom and exploit children.

Police say a 37-year-old man groomed an Iowa teen he met on game platform Roblox, then drove her Tennessee, his home state, to sexually assault her.

A California man has been arrested for abducting a 10-year-old child he reportedly met on social media apps Roblox and Discord, authorities said Wednesday.

The lawsuits allege that Roblox prioritized its profits over child safety. The gaming platform rebuts claims it would intentionally risk the safety of its users.
