You can use Active Directory Users and Computers to double-check that a computer was successfully added.

If I want to administer them from a workstation, I can install the management tools and then use the active directory users and computers. This lets me view a domain but only one.

To export the data, launch Active Directory Users and Computers. Navigate to the domain structure of the Organizational Unit you wish to export and click on it.
