Buc-ee’s accuses Dallas gas station of copying beaver in lawsuit
Late last year, the chain sued a Missouri gas station, Duckees Drive Thru, arguing that its cartoon duck was a copycat of the beaver. It has also accused convenience stores in Mexico of copying its logo, including BUK-II’S Super Mercado and Lucky’s.
Buc-ee’s Suing Super Fuels for Trademark Infringement
Late last year, Buc-ee’s filed suit against Kansas City, Missouri-based 2 Wiseman Enterprises LLC, dba Duckees Drive Thru, a liquor store in Kimberling City, Missouri, for trademark infringement. The allegedly too-similar logo in this case features a duck.
