Scottie Scheffler announced he underwent surgery to remove glass fragments from his right palm and won't compete in The Sentry.

Scheffler is expected to be back at 100% in the next three or four weeks following the surgery. He withdrew from The Sentry, the tournament that officially kicks off the new golf season Jan. 2. Scheffler's next scheduled tournament is The American Express on Jan. 16-19 in La Quinta, Calif.

The incident for Scheffler caps off a wild 2024 for the Texas native, which included his since-dropped arrest at The PGA Championship and he and his wife having their first child.
