Slowly but surely, the Sacramento Kings are getting back into playoff form. They have been in very good shape since the firing of head coach Mike Brown and are currently the eighth team in the West with a 22-20 record.

It’s rare to see an NBA big man known for his 3-point shooting, but Kings center Domantas Sabonis is adding himself as another exception to that narrative with his marksmanship. The Sacramento star is knocking down triples at a 48.

Christie spent countless hours with Sabonis over the past three years as his player development coach. Christie has watched Sabonis improve his 3-point shooting dramatically from 23.5% in his first season with the Kings to almost 48% this season while doubling his volume.
