Houston Texans safety Jimmie Ward is the subject of a new domestic assault lawsuit filed Wednesday by the mother of his 3-year-old child. Ward, who is entering his 12th season and has played for the Texans since 2023,

Ward, 34, was arrested by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in June and charged with assault family violence impeding breath/circulation, a third-degree felony, in the aftermath of one of the alleged assaults.
