Deputies in Lake Worth Beach engaged in gunfire with a man wanted for attempted murder, ending with his arrest and minor injury.

A man drove himself to the Kihei Medic Quarters after being shot early Thursday morning, prompting an attempted murder investigation.

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - The preliminary hearing in the case of Jessica McCroskey has been delayed to October 1st. McCroskey was originally planned to enter a plea on felony charges, which include attempted murder, but didn’t after she decided to apply for a public defender.

A man who shook a newborn baby boy and caused serious injuries has been jailed for seven years for attempted murder. Stuart Flood, 28, from Elgin in Moray, was found guilty of assaulting the infant over a three-month period in Aberdeen in 2021.

"This was very brutal — the facts of this case are very brutal, horrific," RPD Chief David Ewing said. "I mean it shocked us to our core."
