He was ordained in Roscrea in 1991. Since ordination he has served as curate in in Toomevara, Silvermines, Templederry, Nenagh and Kinnity. He succeeds Fr. Sean Moriarty as parish priest in Kinnity.

As a result one group in the parish met Friday and will meet again Thursday March 11th, March 18th and March 25th and April 1st, 2004 in the confessional room Templederry Church.
