AUSTIN, Texas — On Monday, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced an expansion of the second special session 's agenda. Abbott added two items to the session's agenda that he says will improve public safety and election security in Texas. Those items are:

New agenda items include penalties for lawmakers who flee the state, pharmacy access to Ivermectin, and a groundwater study in East Texas.
