If you're a fan of any of the NFL teams we're about to mention, you sure are.  These are the teams that have left themselves plenty of work to do based on the early stages of free agency.  But keep in mind offseasons are rarely won in March.

With the NFL free agency tampering period starting on March 10, there have already been some big splashes, both through free agent signings and trades. Teams have been attacking weaknesses early, especially the teams with plenty of cap space.

Sunday and Monday brought with it a flurry of activity in NFL free agency, with teams shelling out large sums of money to improve key areas in hopes that an addition or two, here or there, will be the difference between an early playoff exit and hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.

One of the funniest things about the NFL is how the league still openly uses the term “legal tampering period.” It’s inaccurate, makes no sense, and sounds far more nefarious than “negotiation period.
