In a 119-106 loss to the Brooklyn Nets, Memphis Grizzlies guards Marcus Smart and Desmond Bane left the game with injuries and didn't return. Smart suffered an ankle injury in the 13-point loss, and Bane went down with an oblique injury. On Friday, Memphis released an update on the pair of guards with a week-to-week prognosis, per Grizzlies PR.

Memphis will be without a pair of starting perimeter players in Desmond Bane and Marcus Smart for at least 1 week.

Injuries are starting to pile up, though. Ja Morant, Desmond Bane and Marcus Smart are among the players who have missed multiple games. Smart (ankle) is listed as doubtful against Portland. Portland's roster is relatively healthy.
