Fans have already made their minds up on Marcus Rashford after he made his Aston Villa debut on Sunday. After being completely frozen out by Ruben Amorim at Manchester United, Rashford has signed for Unai Emery's side on loan until the end of the season - though the club have the option to buy him for £40 million.

When the defence did part in the last minute and he was freed on the right Rashford had only one thing in mind – score a debut goal. In the end he ran into Archie Gray and left his mark on a second Spurs player. Rashford arrived with questions hanging over his head, in less than half an hour he answered many of them.

Morgan Rogers had just scored Aston Villa’s second in the 2-1 FA Cup victory against Tottenham Hotspur and Villa’s players had gathered to the left of the Holte End, a cacophony encompassing them, but Emery remained fixated on preparing his two substitutes.
