DETROIT (WXYZ) — Two men who were strangers told us they rescued an alligator from Belle Isle Park in Detroit on Wednesday. Last Friday, a gator was spotted near the water soaking up some sunshine.

Steve Hart and Troy Keteyian, who had never met until Oct. 1, were able to wrangle a 3-foot-long alligator into their net on Belle Isle.
