For the first time in a while, the Chiefs may not be desperate to add a wide receiver. They have Rashee Rice coming back from a knee injury, Xavier Worthy coming off a breakout rookie season, and they re-signed Marquise Brown and Juju Smith-Schuster to provide a veteran presence. If anything, they could add some depth in the later rounds.

The Kansas City Chiefs were shellacked in Super Bowl LIX, and in order to prevent the kind of barrage Patrick Mahomes was forced to withstand, while sacked six times, general manager Brett Veach and the front office may need to hit the 2025 NFL Draft out of the park.

In his pre-draft news conference, GM Brett Veach said the Chiefs have just 13 prospects with a first-round grade on their board.
