Heavyweights West Bengal extended their supremacy in the National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy with a 1-0 win over Kerala in the summit showdown in Hyderabad on Tuesday, claiming the title for an unprecedented 33rd time.

West Bengal sealed a record-extending 33rd Santosh Trophy triumph with a 94th minute winner from Robi Hansda against Kerala in the final. This is Bengal's first win since since 2016, in a tournament they have dominated since it's inception in 1941.
