The Chargers added a versatile defensive back who tested well at Florida's pro day when they selected Trikweze Bridges.

Bridges set state career records for interceptions (36) and interceptions returned for touchdowns (13) during his time at Lanett High School in Alabama. He became the top ranked safety prospect in the state after earning three straight all-state honors over his time at the school.

The Chargers closed out their 2025 draft class by selecting former Florida defensive back Trikweze Bridges with the No. 256 overall pick in the seveneth round. Los Angeles needed to add depth to the cornerback room, which they accomplished with the pick of Bridges, who has experience at multiple spots in the secondary.
