Tornado warning issued for parts of Prince George’s County
A tornado warning has been issued for parts of Prince George’s County, including Camp Springs, Oxon Hill, and Hillcrest Heights, until 6:00 p.m. EST, the National Weather Service announced Tuesday.
UPDATE: The current tornado warning will be expiring at 12:15 p.m., says the NWS
"The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 5 p.m. for central North Carolina," states the NWS Raleigh NC. The warning is in effect until 12:15 p.m.
Update: Tornado warning affecting Forest County Sunday evening
The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning at 7:37 p.m. on Sunday in effect until 8 p.m. for Forest County.
Update: Tornado warning affecting Marion County Saturday night
On Saturday at 9:48 p.m. a tornado warning was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 10:30 p.m. for Marion County.
UPDATE: Tornado warning for the Piedmont region Sunday morning, according to the NWS
The NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC issued an updated tornado warning at 9:44 a.m. on Sunday. The warning is for Cabarrus, Iredell, Mecklenburg and Rowan counties.
