Iowa Cancer Registry responds to Surgeon General’s warning about alcohol
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy released a warning about alcohol’s ties to cancer, suggesting alcohol companies put a label on their drinks highlighting the cancer risk. This suggestion comes after Murthy says most adults in the in the United States don’t know about the relationship between drinking and cancer.
