Steve Guttenberg doesn’t just play a good guy on the screen. The actor, best known for performances in hit films like “Police Academy” and “Three Men and a Baby,” sprang into action when Los Angeles County wildfires threatened the area around his Pacific Palisades neighborhood.

The "Three Men and a Baby" actor told CNN that he hadn't "seen anything like this in my entire life, and I don't think many people have."

Actor Steve Guttenberg, who lives near Pacific Palisades, helped evacuate residents and moved cars to clear paths for firefighters. Guttenberg is calling for people in L.A. to unite and help each another.
