As cities across the South deal with an unusually snowy and icy winter, some residents are getting creative to clear their streets. Suburbs to the south of Atlanta saw more snow and ice than other areas of the city.

Snow and ice along with the brutal cold are in store for North Georgia on Tuesday. Utilities and road crews are keeping a close eye on the threat of inclement conditions. Georgia Power says it is closely watching the weather, keeping its teams on alert in case the electricity goes out.
