Officials are bracing for the return of fierce Santa Ana winds as they try to contain large blazes in the Los Angeles area. Here's the latest.

With the two largest wildfires in Los Angeles County still mostly uncontained, the winds which drove their explosive growth have whipped up once again.

Luna said they are actively searching for 23 adults, 17 of whom have gone missing in the Eaton Fire, which ravaged the Angeles National Forest and Altadena area of Los Angeles County and Pasadena. Six others are still missing in Malibu, the sheriff said.
