Spanish golfer Jon Rahm is planning to participate in the Ryder Cup later this year despite his ongoing appeal of sanctions levied against him by the DP World Tour for competing in LIV Golf events in 2024.

Because of his affiliation with LIV Golf, Jon Rahm faces a bevy of sanctions and fines from the DP World Tour, which facilitates the Ryder Cup from the European side. He does not know when arbitrators will settle those issues,

Jon Rahm is back on the DP World Tour this week, with the LIV Golf star beginning his season in Dubai having appealed fines and sanctions put to him by the Wentworth-based circuit
