Don't just take my word for it. When sifting through this month's new Prime Video movies I found 12 movies rated 95% "fresh" or higher by critics on Rotten Tomatoes. These aren't obscure movies either. We're talking about "The Terminator," The Godfather" and "The Lego Movie" among others. Whittling it down to a manageable list was not easy.

Since premiering at the Sundance Film Festival in January of this year, “My Old Ass” has been steadily collecting positive reviews. On the review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes, it holds a 91% score from more than 171 reviews. And, just as impressively, its audience score is also high at 89% from more than 500 ratings.

From a 2024 comedy to 2012 coming-of-age classic, these Amazon Prime Video movies cover a wide range, and are the perfect titles to check out this weekend.
