The Minnesota DFL has revoked the Minneapolis arm of the party's endorsement of Minnesota state Sen. Omar Fateh in the Minneapolis mayoral race.

A Minnesota Democratic committee on Thursday revoked the party’s endorsement of mayoral candidate Omar Fateh, a democratic socialist challenging the incumbent Democratic mayor of Minneapolis.

The state party’s rules committee heard scores of challenges to the historic endorsement that drew national attention.
