The Washington Capitals made the most of their last win of 2024, poking fun at the Boston Bruins. The Capitals defeated the Bruins 3-1 on Tuesday behind center Aliaksei Protas' 15th and 16th goals of the season.

Better execution could have delivered the Bruins their second win over the Capitals in eight days. They did not get it, and they ended up with nothing in Washington.
