Fast-growing Breeze Airways adds new city, giving it 69 total destinations
Adding Greensboro gives Breeze, which launched service in 2021, its 69th city nationwide. It's also just the latest expansion for the startup carrier in central North Carolina: Breeze has been in the midst of a growth spurt at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), which sits about 80 miles east of GSO.
Breeze Airways adds operations base, jobs at Ohio airport
Breeze Airways will add an operations base at the Akron-Canton Airport. The base will support some 60 jobs and will have an annual payroll of $11 million, according to Breeze’s Chief Guest Officer Fiona Kiesel.
