The Philadelphia Phillies shared their hilarious take on the Coldplay kiss cam scandal during their game on Friday night. During the game, a kiss cam onscreen showed the Phillie Phanatic cozied up with a fellow mascot, who was sporting a blonde ponytail. When the mascots noticed the camera on them, they ducked and covered their faces.
Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot looked cozy and happy before realizing they were on the big screen at Foxborough Stadium. Byron immediately dropped out of frame, while Cabot turned away from the camera. This led Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin to remark, "Uh-oh, what? Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy."
