Aaron Jones and Cam Akers have said they’d like to stay in Minnesota. Whether either does depends on what the team views as the best way to strengthen its rushing attack in 2025.

Whilst the majority of Minnesota Vikings talk has focused, understandably so, on the quarterback dilemma facing the team, there is another key position group that has major question marks heading into 2025.

Outside linebacker Pat Jones II did not practice on Thursday, indicating he could be out again this week for the Vikings' wild card playoff game against the Rams. Jones suffered a knee injury against the Packers in Week 17 and missed last Sunday's game against the Lions.

The Minnesota Vikings are predicted to trade two draft picks to the Seahawks to move up and select Asthon Jeanty as Aaron Jones' replacement.
