The new Winship at Emory Midtown facility, comprising 17 stories and more than 450,000 square feet, will be built around a patient's needs and comfort, bringing all the necessary doctors, staff, and services to the patient so the patient does not need to switch locations during their visit. The care communities will focus on patients with specific types of cancer, providing specialized infusion facilities, clinical examination rooms, clinical research, and spaces for support and rehabilitation services. Facility will include inpatient beds, outpatient clinics, surgical and procedure suites, diagnostic imaging, treatment suites, and research space.
