Busy busy busy. Went here at about 5pm on a weekday. I thought london was busy but this place takes the prize. Thousands of people cross every time the lights change. What a sight to see.Full review by craice

It’s a crossing, or rather several crossings all at the same place and is a real tourist must see. Lots of people, just walking across, paying no attention and filming themselves.Full review by stuart w

It’s the center of Shibuya, so there’s everything to do here. I mean, the scrabble itself is a pedestrian crossing, but the Tokyu Food Show is underneath it, the Shibuya yokocho (along with hundreds of other restaurants) is maybe 300 meters away, there’s a virtual reality place around the corner. Yoyogi Park is within walking distance, you can see a show at the Tokyo Orb theatre at the top of the Hikarie building, you can visit the D47 museum which has a different exhibit every month or so... there’s an insane amount to do in this area.

Q:
Is there a hotel or restaurant located in a highrise above the area that has a great viewing of the Shibuya Pedestrian Scramble?
A:
Not sure about restaurants but there is a big Starbucks on one corner. The window seats were very busy but I think you’d have a decent view.
